Wednesday Afternoon Construction

The boys and I ran to the library, then to the commissary, and finally to Theresa's house for the afternoon. Theresa treated me to a very delicious chicken and spinach salad with some homemade low fat/cal dressing! YUMMY! The boys and I headed back home around 3 and came home to this....

The entire back of the addition has the siding on it...
Lookin' nice
The side is finished and ready to be painted...probably tomorrow.
Lookin' nice...
They removed the siding from inside the addition. This is the wall that USED to be the back of the house...that window looks into the existing family room, and will be taken out and made into a plain wall
The ceiling is ready to be insulated and sheet rocked...it's going to be a vaulted ceiling. The insulation is up on the other 3 walls of the addition as well as the electrical boxes. Zack needs to get into the boys' room at some point to find where the outlet is on that back wall to match one up to it in the addition. He's also going to pull the cable wire from their room and transfer it into the addition.

Redneck saw horses! HAHAHAHAHA

I'll try to get some pictures of the inside of the addition with the insulation later on tonight. They are busy working on the siding around the sliding door, and I didn't want to get in their way. Zack hopes to get siding on that wall complete this afternoon. He has an appointment to go to at 430 and then he'll be back to try and get the roof shingled. He said it might be loud, but at least it won't be during a nap time. We can handle that! He hopes to tear out the window, wall, and door from the living room to create the entry way into the new room tomorrow. The boys and I were planning on going to the park on Pope Air Force Base anyway. More pictures to come.

Also, I'm sorry for spelling "roof" incorrectly so many times. Any time you see "rood" I really meant to write "roof" My Bad!
