End of Day Sunday

Here's what the house looks like at the end of the day. Zack said he did the rook "16 on center" and not "24 on center" like the existing roof is now. In non-contractor terms, that means the boards are closer together on the addition than on the house. He said 24 on center is how they used to construct homes, but 16 on center is sturdier and safer in the long run. Since it's different, he had to attach a piece of wood to the existing roof for the new roof to attach to. With the boards being different widths, he obviously couldn't attach them directly to each other. Ok with me! He's going to pick up the windows and sliding door tomorrow and will try to install those and the rest of the roof. He'll have a full team of workers as well. Today, he only had one other guy helping out. I'll post more pictures tomorrow!!!

Wow, Kate, I am quite impressed with how quickly things are movin along with your new addition! If you lived here in Tennessee you wouldn't even have the grass dug up yet!

P.S. Your boys are just adorable! I think they get cuter with each picture taken!
