We're back in NC

We all made it home to NC safe and sound today around 4 pm. The boys were PERFECT car riders and PERFECT all week. I know it's hard to sit in a car for 13 hours at a time, sleep in a pack in play, eat somewhere other than your own kitchen, and someone else's food other than the Mommy's, but they were SO GOOD. I got compliments all week from strangers about how well behaved they are in public...that's such an awesome feeling. Enough bragging about my little Road Warriors...here are some pictures from the week.

We tried to take the boys to the beach on Wednesday morning, but the wind was SO bad and the sand was blowing up our noses and in our eyes and ears. I put the stroller rain cover over them so they were fine, but Bri and I could hardly push the stroller because the wind was so strong. I made it back out after their nap and managed to get a few pictures. The one of all of us is kinda goofy, but that's ok.

My grandfather is doing ok. They still need to run some more tests, but things aren't as bad as we initially thought. He perked up after some different medications to keep his cough down and to rehydrate him. He's heading back to Minnesota on Saturday. He's not out of the woods, but he's feeling better already. I think the boys really helped him smile a lot and laugh at how silly and cute they are.

The boys were being funny in the car...here are some road trip pics

Connor passed out...notice the hand behind his head!

Connor CHEESIN' it up!
Brandon enjoying the sun on our picnic today at lunch
Brandon chomping on some Golden Grahams until we could find somewhere to stop for breakfast...notice how he pulled up his jammie pants...such a goof.

This was just a cut picture of me and B

Bridget and I are beyond exhausted from driving over 1500 miles and from chasing after my two monkeys and taking care of our 90 year old grandfather. Thanks to everyone who kept us in their thoughts while we traveled. I'm going to bed....
