I'm doing some family research on my father's side of the family. Just for fun, I google searched the surname Danko and came up with your blog. I was curious to know if your Danko line comes from Szbronc, Hungary? The only information I have so far is that my Grandfather's mother was Mary Danko (yes, I know, Mary is quite a popular name). I realize I don't have a lot of information to share; however, if you are interested and think your Danko line could be from Hungary (or Czech/Ukraine/Slovakia - at one time Szbronc was ruled by each country)please let me know.
