Zack, our contractor's right hand man, came out today and worked on the addition some more. We've had a lot of rain so things were a little delayed. He came out, tore out the steps and squared off the foundation so he could begin pouring the concrete. We really needed the rain we got the last few days since we're technically in a drought. However, super wet grass doesn't work well with a heavy cement truck. Instead, they rented a cement machine and mixed it themselves. They poured the cement tonight, but didn't start until 6 which was when I was walking out the door to the baby shower. I'll take pictures of the cement tomorrow.
