Here's a super cute recipe I made today in the matter of about 15 minutes. It's easy, delicious, and extremely cute!
All you need is
Vanilla wafers
Peppermint Patties
1/2 cup cake icing
1 tsp corn syrup
sesame seads
yellow and red food coloring
Divide the icing and color half with yellow and half with red. Brush the tops of the vanilla wafers with the corn syrup and sprinkle with sesame seeds. I only used about 1 tsp corn syrup for 20 wafers and I still had some left over...use very sparingly! Spread the yellow icing on the bottom side of one wafer, place the patty on top, spread the patty with red icing, and top with the wafers that have been brushed and "seeded" THAT'S IT! They are pretty tasty and super easy. Mine got a little messy while in transit, but they turn out really cute. Couple it with some apple "fries" and it's a decent sweet treat. Too bad the boys can't have it because of the egg in the wafers, chocolate that is processed with nuts, and finally the sesame seeds....Brandon is also allergic to sesame if you didn't know that!
